Anne Stockman Quartet

In 2012 Anne formed her own band: the Anne Stockman Quartet. Her fellow bandmembers Patrick Rugebregt (piano), Joost Verbakel (bass) and Martijn Soeterbroek (drums) are young & upcoming professional jazz musicians from all across The Netherlands. The group mainly performs Anne’s original compositions, inspired by artists such as Gretchen Parlato, Becca Stevens, Erykah Badu, Avishai Cohen, Robert Glasper and Jamiroquai. Within the band’s sound, comprising of modern vocal jazz with pop and soul influences, Anne’s personal lyrics are inextricably intertwined with the colorful chords and melodies. At the end of 2012, the quartet started playing at local jazz clubs throughout The Netherlands, achieving popular acclaim along the way. They just have recorded their first demo at Paradox Tilburg. This demo is recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Antoine Putz.
